Office Admin Vacancy. Open to people with lived experience of the care system #CEP
We are looking for a part-time office admin assistant!
If you are an individual that has had lived experience of being in the care system and you have admin/office experience (ideally including Word and Excel but if you are used to working online that is a start!) this could be the role for you!
We have been fortunate to receive funding for this position from The Welland Trust, a charity helping care experienced people to transform their lives.

Job title: Office Administration Support
Hours: 10 hours/week – flexible
Salary: hourly rate £10.00
Overview:
No Limits Community Café & Hub is a Community Interest Company. We are a busy café, kitchen, meeting point and social hub selling food and drink made within our catering kitchen. Our vision is a world where young people with additional needs are valued & included in society.
We provide work experience opportunities for people with widely ranging skills and life experiences. No Limits is more than just a café’. We offer people with learning disabilities the chance to develop workplace skills and engage with the community in an inclusive, safe and supportive environment. We are also affiliated with The Rees Foundation to provide community support for those who are care experienced. We offer a safe meeting place with staff who are understanding of care experienced related concerns and are Mental Health First Aid trained. We have resources linked through to The Rees Foundation and free drinks and discounted food for people who are care experienced and hold a Rees Café Guest Card.
The position of Office Administration Support will include:
- Serving as the first point of contact for telephone queries.
- Managing the diary.
- Acting as a liaison between other members of staff in the office and across both Cafes.
- Maintaining office supplies.
- Filing and updating invoice records.
- Keeping protocols and policies up to date
- Some responsibility for social media and blog updates (initial training can be given.)
- Data input/updating of team records.
- Duties may vary from time to time, without changing the general character of the post or the level of responsibility.
- The post holder must always respect confidentiality and the confidentiality of electronically stored personal data in line with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- Having had Lived Experience of being in Care, we would encourage the successful applicant to become an Ambassador for No Limits & The Rees Foundation. This means supporting those in the local community who are care experienced to access the café. Including helping individuals feel welcomed and supported and sign-post to useful services, community groups and organisations for care experienced individuals at all stages of their life. You would be supported with this.

Key knowledge, skills and experience:
- A Commitment to the work and ethos of our CIC
- User knowledge of Word & Excel essential
- Experience within an admin/office support role useful
- Knowledge of Canva, WordPress, Google Business and social media is useful but training can be given
