As an organisation, they work with over 1,000 businesses in the County, so to be recognised by our peers for this award, let alone WIN when it was alongside such worthy and fantastic competitors is an absolute honour for ‘Team No Limits’!
Our award was sponsored by Classic Builders and the ceremony was hosted at Crowne Plaza Plymouth, Amanda our Café Manager got to enjoy a fabulous night of celebrations with her family. A little bit more about this specific award: The Equality Trailblazer Award is for an organisation that champions diversity and promotes inclusion within their workforce, their customers and any community outreach work.
We think that summarises our whole ethos perfectly.
Here at No Limits, we are proud of the work that we do, not only in our café but also in the wider community through our Supported Employment and Outreach work, liaising with various businesses and organisations to embrace employing people with disabilities. We truly have a diverse workforce and are also a Disability Confident Employer, this means that people are welcomed here no matter their differences, whether that be in a voluntary role or paid employment, and we work hard to support them through all that can arise with managing long term health and disability.
We also strive to have an inclusive workforce no matter ones sexuality, colour or creed. We hope that we can be a place that anyone and everyone feels welcome.
